More apartments planned for Dallas County

Trammell Crow Residential has submitted plans for the Alexan Cathedral Arts. To be located near the intersection of Ross and N. Garrett avenues, the 384-unit project will be located on 4.54 acres and has been designed by JHP Architecture. At an estimated cost of $59.9 million, the project is expected to begin in September with a completion date of early 2023.

A joint venture between Los Angeles-based Banyan Residential and Utah-based Bridge Investment Group have plans to build a 287-unit apartment complex in southwest Dallas. Called Banyan Bishop Arts, the project has been designed by JHP Architecture and could kick off by August. With an estimated cost of $36.7 million, the project will take two years to build. Nearby, Banyan is also building the 265-unit Banyan Beckley in Oak Cliff.

Generation Housing Development is looking to build a 248-unit apartment complex at the corner of S. Westmoreland Road and Hansboro Avenue. Called Westmoreland Station, the project would take about two years to build and could cost an estimated $37 million. It has been designed by HEDK Architects.
